On July 7, 2026, Bayacao passed an important milestone: more than 2,000 metric tons of cocoa purchased, expressed in dry bean equivalent, since the beginning of the 2025/2026 crop year on October 1, 2025.
This represents more than twice the volume achieved in each of the previous two crop years, with the current season still underway.
This milestone reflects the continued development of our sourcing network, the growing strength of our commercial relationships, and the commitment of our teams across procurement, processing, quality control, packaging, logistics and export operations.
Despite ongoing logistical and evacuation constraints, our operations remain fully active. We are continuing to purchase, process, prepare and ship cocoa, while working towards another significant objective: surpassing 2,000 metric tons of exports before the end of the crop year.
At that level, Bayacao will account for more than 3% of the Dominican Republic’s national cocoa market.
This progress reinforces our long-term ambition to establish Bayacao as a leading company in the Dominican fine cocoa sector. Our strategy is built on disciplined growth, reliable execution and the development of sustainable international markets for Dominican cocoa.
The expansion of our export portfolio is central to this strategy. Our ability to purchase larger and more consistent volumes depends directly on our ability to secure strong, diversified and dependable commercial outlets. Sustainable growth requires both sides of the equation: the capacity to source and the capacity to sell.
We would therefore like to thank our suppliers and smallholder farmers for their trust, our international customers for supporting our commercial expansion, our employees for their continued dedication, and our investors for providing the capital and confidence required to build long-term value.
Bayacao will continue to invest, execute and grow with discipline. Our objective is not simply to increase volume, but to build a resilient, scalable and internationally competitive cocoa business that contributes meaningfully to the development of the Dominican cocoa industry.
